The Seven Pomegranate Seeds of Persephone's story sow the bleak separation of mother and child. A host of modern women drawn from ancient goddesses, queens and slaves, cross space and time in their search for love, revenge and their lost children.
Commissioned to launch the Onassis Programme for the Performance of Greek Drama, The Seven Pomegranate Seeds was first performed in the Oxford Playhouse in May, 2006.
